KAILASH MANSAROVAR YATRA OVERLAND GROUP.
Mount Kailash a holy mountain stands at 6714 meters a very popular mountain peak of Tibet, also known by the name of Tise, Kailash or Kang Rinpoche (Jewel of the Snows). Mt Meru (Kailash) is sacred to the Hindus, Buddhists, Janis, and the Bonpos taken as the centre of the physical and metaphysical universe. For the Hindus, the mountain represents the seat of Shiva. For the Buddhists, a terrestrial projection of the cosmic mandala of Dyani Buddhas and Boddhisatvas (which represents the Wheel of Life)For the devout pilgrim a visit to Mt. Kailash & Lake Mansarovar forms the ultimate realization of their spiritual pursuit, and for the adventure-lovers it offers rugged beauty, remoteness and solitude. If you tour to Mount Kailash during the month of May it gives you the opportunity to face Buddhist festival of Saga Dawa while most of the other trips are planned to arrive at Mt. Kailash during the full moon period to give all participants a rare experience. A journey you can truly call as once-in-a-lifetime.
This tour offers rigorous overland driving, trekking and camping, passing the remote and wild western Tibet, in altitudes between 2,745meters to 5600meters.

| Day 01: |
Arrive Kathmandu & transfer to Royal Singhi hotel or similar.
Briefing on Kailash Yatra. |
| Day 02: |
Darshan of Pashupatinath & Boudhanath, Preparation for
Kailash Yatra & last minute shopping. |
| Day 03: |
Drive 120km to Kodari (Nepal-Tibet border), walk to friendship
bridge and uphill to Zhangmu (2200m). After completing custom
and immigration formalities proceed to Nyalamu(3750m-35kms).
Stay at guesthouse. |
| Day 04: |
Rest day at Nyalamu for acclimatization. |
Day 05: |
Drive from Nyalamu to Saga (4600m-255kms).
Overnight at guesthouse or camp. |
Day 06: |
Drive from Saga to Paryang (4500m-240kms).
Overnight at guest house or camp. |
Day 07: |
Drive from Paryang to Hor-Quo (4560m-230kms).
Stay in camp at bank of the Lake Manasarovar. |
Day 08: |
Holy bath, Puja, Parikrama of Mansarovar by Jeep (115kms),
visit of Chiu Gompa for hot spring bath. camp or guest house at
Mansarovar. |
Day 09: |
Drive to Darchen. Visit Asthapath. Overnight at guest house. |
Day 10: |
Drive to Tarboche, to the trek starting point of Kailsh Parikram
(10kms). Trek Tarboche to Diraphuk (4900m-9kms). O/n camp from where you have superb view of Mt. Kailash. |
Day 11: |
Continue Parikarma over Drolma-la Pass (5610m) to Zuthul-Puk
(4700m-18kms). Just below the Dolma La is the Gauri Kund.
O/n at camp. |
Day 12: |
Trek back 8km to near Darchen and drive to Manasarovar.
Stay at camp or guest house. |
Day 13: |
rom Mansarovar drive back to Paryang. Stay at guest house or camp. |
Day 14: |
Drive back from Paryang to Saga. Stay at guest house or camp. |
Day 15: |
Drive back from Saga to Nyalamu. Stay at guesthouse. |
Day 16: |
Drive back to Zhangmu - Kodari - Kathmandu. Stay at Royal Singhi hotel. |
Day 17: |
After breakfast, final departure from Kathmandu for onward journey. |

The cost include Zhangmu in-out-( Itinerary: BP 002)
- Accommodation in Kathmandu at Royal Singhi hotel on full board.
- Accommodation en-route Kailash (inside Tibet) and vise versa at local guest
houses.
- Half day visit of Pashupatinah and airport transfers
Services of sherpa staff.
- All meals (hot breakfast/Dinner & packed lunch) strictly vegetarian cooked
by Indian cook.
- Sleeping, Dining, Kitchen, bath and Toilet tents.
- Japanese 4500 models Vehicles (4 person in 01 land cruiser) and support
trucks.
- English speaking Tibetan guide.
- One Nepali Team Leader & one Indian cook Gamow bags & oxygen cylinder with mask in case of emergency.
- Kailash Permit, Tibet/China VISA Fee.
- Boiled and cooled drinking water. Charges for Yak & Yak men during Kailash
Parikrama to carry luggage. The cost of mineral water will be extra.
The cost exclude:
- Airfare and airport tax. Travel & medical insurance.
- Evacuation cost in case of Emergency.
- Expenses of personal nature. Mineral
water.
- Pooja Samagri and Hawan Kund's etc.
- Camera fees for carrying them in
the monasteries (charges are hefty). Telephone calls, riding horse /
herdsman during parikarma and any extra expenses due to road blockage,
landslides.
- en-route Kathmandu-Kodari-Kathmandu and flight delay etc.
NOTE : Please advise us the FOOD MENU (we will prepare accordinly)
NOTE: Yatris not doing Parikarma will have to pay for their accommodation at Darchen (during parikarma period), but the 3 times meals will be provided by us.
