PILGRIMAGE TOUR IN NEPAL.

 

Janakpur has the Janaki Temple which is dedicated to Goddess Sita, and also has a Ram and Sita Marriage Mandhir (or also known as Ram and Sita Bibaha Mandhir in Nepali) which is said to have been built in the spot where they got married. Marriage anniversary of Ram and Sita is observed every year here through a festival which is also observed throughout Nepal.
The description of the grandeur of Dev Ghat shrine abounds in Puranas. The confluence of three main rivers: Krishna Gandaki, Seti Gandaki and Trisuli Dev Ghat shrine lies in the proximity of famous tourist zone Chitwan. Cavesm temples, ashrams and sankrit schools that abound here have beauty of the shrine. The special significance lies in taking bath in the river on Makar Sankrati the very day when the shrine get crowded because of the annual fair.
Muktinath (Mukti means Salvation and Nath means God (God of Salvation) holds a great religious significance for Hindus and Buddhists. This famous temple of lord Muktinath (Lord Vishnu) lies in about 18 km northeast of Jomsom (The headquarter of Mustang district in West Nepal) is at an elevation of 3800 meters. The Muktinath's Temple is in a pagoda shaped and dedicated to the lord Vishnu.


 

 
Day 01:

Upon arrival, meeting and assistance at the airport and then transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 02:

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning: Sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath + Bodhnath.
Afternoon sightseeing tour of Patan + Tibetan Handicraft Centre. Oernight at hotel.

Day 03:

Breakfast at hotel.
Drive to Janakpur. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 04:

Darshan and pooja of Janaki temple. Drive to Narayanghat. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 05:

Darshan and pooja of holy Devghat. Transfers to Sauraha, Jungle activities. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 06:

Morning jungle activities, drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 07:

Early morning fly to Jomsom and further drive to Muktinath. Darshan and pooja and drive back to Jomsom. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 08:

Fly back to Pokhara. Half day sightseeing tour in Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

 
Day 09:

Drive to Kathmandu. En-route visit of Manakamana temple by cable car. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:

Morning sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city + Swayambhunath. Afternoon free for rest and shopping. Overnight hotel.
Day 11:
 Transfer to International airport for connecting onwards flight.
